After thoughts on the MADE Fair in Missoula

I've been doing craft shows since I was 12 or so and I've got to tell you that I've never been to one so organized and professional in my life! Really! They advertised, they supplied tables and chairs without charging, they had all the spots measured and numbered, they had WiFi set up which was a God send to me, they came around and checked on us, they had a diversified group of artists, their fee was reasonable, they made sure the vendors weren't charging an arm and leg either..... I could go on and on.
I don't do winter shows that often but they might make me change my mind and apply for their winter show! I don't see my Summer wear selling so I'd have to work on my stuffies and my polymer clay... Speaking of which I've been asked if I'd do classes on that.... I won't lie, it scares me a bit. Not because I'm afraid of competition, because most of my experiments are trial and error... If you all knew how many things I melted or caught on fire you'd be surprised.... Well maybe you would. ;)
I'm going to kick back, nurse my Farmers burn, break out my notebook and start writing down some ideas... No I never stop.... <3 ya

  1. Teaching art is always trial and error. I think you would do great. Message me if you want... I have it down to a science ;) Also, I want a pillowcase top!
